Wildfire - Ceramics

A series of ceramic works highlighting and focusing on an area of protected woodland that burned in a wildfire, believed to be directly related to the climate crisis. 

 

These ceramic works incorporate materials found on the damaged site, such as charcoal, burned leaves, wood and soil fragments, using layering to create unique surfaces and textures
